However, Android TV (other Toshiba models and many other brands have Android OS), LG’s WebOS, Roku TV (stick and Hisense Roku TVs) and Samsung TVs have it.
The sparse app store and lack of new app support in general is disappointing, however it's nothing that a half-price 4K Fire TV Stick on Prime Day won't resolve. So this seems to affect gen 1/2/ultra then. And of course sky Q isn't supporting HDR so that's out too. Secondly, I discover Samsung are not launching a Disney+ app for my K8500 4K player.
50. Nov 17, 2022. #1. This is a weird one. my Disney+ has worked fine since the service launched. I run the app on my LG TV which has a wired connection. The last couple of weeks any program I stream will regularly stop and display the no internet connection message. It then comes back on after a few seconds, 10 to 30 seconds.
See the attached link - LG CONTENT STORE. The first FAQ confirms that webos 3.0 TVs (like mine) currently cannot do UHD on the Disney + app, but they are working on it. This could mean an update to the app (I'm currently on 1.2.7) or an update to the TV's firmware (I'm currently on 05.30.80) OR BOTH!
