Kindly try to search your disappear email with subject to check if its move to different folder or not. Check deleted items to verify that mails are not move to deleted folder. We are using Microsoft 365 business essential. Emails are still coming in via Outlook online and my phone but not showing up on my laptop. Outlook on my laptop shows "Updating Inbox". When I tried to do a manual send/receive it's getting stuck at synchronizing hierarchy.
Under Location, you'll find the name of containing folder. Try to find the folder on your Folder pane. If you cant find it, press Ctrl-6 to change your view and search all subfolders to find the containing folder.
