Short answer is yes - an extension cable (or replacement) can negatively affect charging rates. Any extra resistance anywhere in the charge path will lower the rate. Yea, you're right, I didn't read the post properly, the simple answer for the OP is to buy a long replacement charger cable rather than use an extension cable.
Re: Turbo charger USB cable. Check out monoprice. CHEAP ($.74) cables and everyone I have ever had worked great. I used a 3 ft one the other day w/torbo charger and it worked fine. Feb 27, 2016. #6. This is completely normal behavior for Fast Charging. You are not getting the heat with the cable from your car charger because it doesn't use as much current as the OEM one. Watch your charge rates drop to at least double between 0-80% compared to the stock cable.
You have to find a mating connector - if it's USB (it may not be - 4 pins doesn't automatically mean USB), but the Duo charging cable may work (the picture is more detailed than your picture if you roll over it with your mouse cursor - take a look). LG V20 Phone just won't show up on PC when connecting with USB. I have 2, V20's, on one of them when I drag the settings menu down the USB charging shows up but there is no way to change it from charge to transfer. On my other V 20 the USB does not show up at all anywhere. Android 8.0.0 up to date.
I bought my first Pixel 2XL at launch and it worked brilliantly until about 2-3 months ago, when it began I only charging with the USB C cable oriented in one direction. A support call to Google ended with them claiming it was a software issue they were aware of that should be fixed in an update. I doubted that was the case but forged on.
My Captivate is about 9 months old. I have 3 charging cables and a car charger. Only the car charger stays snuggly in the charger port. With my other 3 chargers, the slightest wiggle of the phone breaks the charging connection. On one of my chargers, I removed the sleeve off the end of the cable so the connector could go deeper into the phone.
