HiCustomerbr />If you turn off the water feed to the boiler and there are no leaks in the system you should be ok. A hot water system only needs water supplied if the pressure drops below 10 psi. A better option would be to fill the heating system with anti-freeze. It can run several hundred bucks but it's well worth it.
