If a necessary service is not available from either the military hospital or clinic or the beneficiary’s Primary Care Manager (PCM), a referral is required. Some procedures and services, including hospitalization and ABA services, require prior authorization from Humana Military. View webinars.
Providers should verify eligibility with Humana Military. The quickest, easiest way to do this is through provider self-service. Active Duty Service Members (ADSM), family members over age 14, retirees and family members will have one of two valid military ID cards shown below.
