The Special Education Student Information System (SESIS) is a web-based application that assists school staff and related service providers in managing the special education process for students entering kindergarten through age 21.
Go to https://mail.nycboe.net and attempt to log in using your SESIS username and password. If your password has expired, follow the instructions to reset it. If the new password is still not accepted, contact Office of Related and Contractual Services at (718) 391-8116 for assistance.
The service records can be viewed by any provider with access to the student in SESIS, and remain in the students record permanently. Important: Services must be recorded and certified by the 15th day of the following month.
Students can be added to SESIS caseloads in the following ways: Manually add the student to the caseload. This is only possible if the provider already has access to the student in SESIS. Contact a supervisor to request that the student be added to his or her caseload.
Letters sent to parents and guardians may be printed from SESIS in English, as well as any of the nine fully-supported languages. There are also over 40 additional languages that are partially-supported by SESIS. The family's preferred language is identified in ATS and copied to SESIS.
